At present, the market for flexographic printing in China is mainly in flexible packaging printing, label printing, folding cartons (cosmetic boxes, medicine boxes, foods, etc.), label stickers (cigarette labels, wine labels, cosmetics labels, etc.), corrugated box preprinting In other respects, there have been new developments in recent years. The China Printing and Equipment Industry Association, when formulating the “10th Five-Year Plan” for the printing industry, proposed that by 2010, flexographic printing will account for 30% of the entire printing method (only 3% at the time), due to China’s flexo printing. The application and development of technology is quite different from the development background and environment of foreign flexographic printing technology. Therefore, the speed of development of flexo printing depends on the important relationship between government policy inclination and guidance, especially the market demand.
In recent years, the state has attached importance to and supports the development of flexographic printing technology. As early as 1998, China Printing and Equipment Industry Association was entrusted by the State Economic and Trade Commission to demonstrate the "direction and focus of structural adjustment of printed special products". The development of flexographic printing technology in this subject is one of them. And it was recognized by the State Economic and Trade Commission. Since 1995, the Association has held one or two flexographic printing technology exchanges every year to promote the development of China's flexographic printing technology. As the flexographic printing technology has developed rapidly in China from scratch (currently there are more than 500 flexographic printing lines in the country), it has driven the domestic flexographic printing machine, anilox roller, ink and plate making equipment. The development and production of equipment, the flexographic printing industry chain has taken initial shape.
In terms of flexographic printing equipment production, at present, more than 10 manufacturers such as Shanghai Ziguang, Beijing Beiren Fuji, Xi'an Black Bull, Qingzhou Yigaofa and Weifang Eastern Airlines can manufacture flexo printing machines. This is a big improvement, but compared with the imported flexo printing machine, the domestic flexographic printing machine still has a big gap.
