In the field of corrugated box processing, the use of web preprinting technology to produce large quantities of products has become a trend. The benefits of pre-printing technology need not be said much, but to really popularize the application of pre-printing technology, but to solve a series of problems, especially the need to develop ink suitable for pre-printing.
Compared to other ink grades, preprinted inks require the following features:
1. High temperature resistance
The web pre-printing technology is to first print on the face paper. On the pre-printing press, the front-loading is adopted, and the printed product is still in the form of a roll, and will be used as a face paper for processing corrugated paperboard. After that, the printed products are directly loaded onto the corrugated paper production line, and processed into corrugated cardboard by combining with the inner paper and the crepe paper.
In the process of processing into corrugated cardboard, the printing process is only one step in the process, and the printed product can only be regarded as a semi-finished product, and further processed in the next process. In the process of corrugated board production, in order to completely dry the binder in the corrugated board, it must be dried at a high temperature. At present, the drying temperature of domestic tile lines is basically above 160 °C, and the drying temperature of some high-speed tile lines even exceeds 200 °C. In this process, the preprinted pattern ink color is required to be unchanged. Therefore, preprinted inks must have better high temperature resistance.
2. Anti-friction performance
Pre-printing is just a processing process, and the finished product has to be tiled. In the secondary processing of the tile line, the friction between the paper and the equipment is inevitable, and the printed pattern must not cause the problem of grinding or even smashing. Therefore, the pre-printing technology also puts forward new requirements for the anti-friction performance of the ink.
The most important process before dispensing ink is to analyze the original. When analyzing the color draft, it mainly analyzes the color on the color draft and the ink used. Generally, the principle should be followed: the three primary colors are the basic colors for all the ink colors, no matter how complicated the color, no matter how it changes, it is always super. The range of the three primary colors. When analyzing the color draft, it is necessary to find out as much as possible whether the color draft is based on screen printing or on the ground. If the screen printing is the main, the ink should be focused on the same color when blending the ink; if it is based on the solid printing, the blending can focus on the same color; if both, then the background and color of the ink I have to take care of it.
After the color sample is analyzed, the color of the ink used should be analyzed, that is, for any kind of ink, it is necessary to be good at seeing the color component. For example, for yellow ink, it is good to identify whether it has a red phase or a blue phase (or a green phase); for a magenta ink, it is good to distinguish whether it has a yellow phase or a blue phase (or purple phase); Ink, be good at identifying whether it is red or green (or yellow).
Suppose that green ink and yellow ink are used to match the green ink. If the green ink has a red phase, or the yellow ink has a red phase, the green color of the mixed line will not be dark, because this is actually equivalent to adding magenta ink to the green ink and the yellow ink. And if this part of the magenta is rare, the same amount of cyan and yellow should be mixed into black (yellow + cyan + magenta = black) according to the principle of color subtraction, and a small amount of black is added to the green, the color of course It is dark, and the brightness and saturation are greatly reduced.
