The color matching principle is based on the color phenomenon, which is caused by the absorption and reflection of light. The pigment will absorb and reflect different degrees when it encounters light. The wavelength of the reflected light determines what the eye sees. Color, and when recalculating the ink formulation, there are two basic values: K (absorbance of light) and X (reflectance of light), plus R (spectral reflectance) to calculate the formulation.


Before the color matching, there must be a database of inks. The K and X values of the color must be recorded in detail. When color matching is required, the computer will combine the K and X ratios of the respective monochrome inks according to different percentages. In order to get the combination that best matches the K and X ratio of the desired color, but the computer color matching is not 100% in the actual situation, because it is in addition to the system level, but also the energy spent by the user. Time is related, so the computer color matching can save a lot of manpower and material resources compared with artificial color matching, but it should not be too expensive.


The first step of computer color matching, in the database of ink data, each color must be black, white, then ink, K, X value, etc., the next thing to do is to identify the database to determine Your own accuracy, because the accuracy of the database will completely determine the color matching formula effect, the database is not allowed, you can not call out the correct color, after the identification can start to do some preliminary color formula, in general, artificial formula If you do, you will only use those colors to match, but the computer will consider every single color ink, so all possible recipes will be found out, and then the selection work, but the problem often occurs is mass production. The color is different from the color at the beginning. The main reason is that the initial formula is obtained in the laboratory. Therefore, the environment cannot be as simple as in the laboratory during mass production, thus affecting the formulation effect. Therefore, the formula correction must be made, that is, the ink produced by the quantity is sent back to the computer for correction under the existing formula, and the correction process is also stored in the computer so as to be needed in the future.
