3M color printing control strip


3M company's color printing and measuring strip (for positive PS version) - MATCHPRINT CO-LOR ELEMENT 3M.


From the left to the right, from top to bottom, the measurement and control unit is:


(1) In the 6mm*6mm square framed by black lines, there is no ink covering, which is the original color of the substrate.


(2) There are 5 consecutive 6mm*6mm squares, which are 20%, 40%, 60%, 80% round grid blocks and 100% solid blocks of CYAN Cyan ink respectively (the number of dot lines is 60 lines/CM, The same as below).


(3) Octagonal blue-violet solid blocks (C+M solid blocks).


(4) 5 consecutive squares, respectively 20%, 40%, 60%, 80% of MAGENTA magenta ink, round grid blocks and 100% solid blocks.


(5) The octagonal intercolor red solid block (M+Y solid block).


(6) 5 consecutive squares, respectively 20%, 40%, 60%, 80% of YELLOW yellow ink, round grid blocks and 100% solid blocks.


(7) Octagonal green solid blocks (C+Y solid blocks).

(10) There are 11 rectangular blocks in each of the four groups of cyan, magenta, yellow and black. Each rectangle (3mm*7mm) has an octagonal shape with a loop, and the lines of the octagon are respectively: 2 microns, 4 microns, 6 microns, 8 microns, 10 microns, 12 microns, 15 microns, 18 microns, 21 microns, 24 microns, 27 microns, they are used to check the resolution of the plates.


(11) Green, magenta, yellow, black four groups, rectangular blocks, each group has 6 small rectangles (2mm * 3mm), they are 98%, 97%, 95%, 5%, 3%, 2% The dot block is used to check the change of the high-key and low-key dots at the time of printing.


(12) Four groups of concentric circles of cyan, magenta, yellow and black, each group consisting of 20 round sleeves of different sizes, used to check whether there are ghosts in each color printing.


(13) Four rectangular blocks, each set of rectangular blocks is 6mm*12mm. The first rectangle has: the angle of the dot is 75 degrees, the square yellow dot with the dot coverage is 25% and the angle of the cable is 45 degrees, the square coverage of the dot coverage is 37%, the angle of the network is 15 degrees, and the coverage of the dot is 26%. Square magenta dots, they are light gray, used to detect the neutral balance of the line; the second rectangle is; the line angle is 75 degrees, 62% of the square yellow dot and the cable angle is 45 degrees, 81% of the square The dot angle of the dot and the screen is 15 degrees, and the 65% square magenta dot constitutes a dark neutral neutral ash, which is used to detect the gray balance at the site. Among the third rectangles are: the angle of the network line is 75 degrees, the angle of the round yellow grid point of 62% and the angle of the screen line is 45 degrees, the angle of the round green grid point of 81% is 15 degrees with the angle of the screen line, and the circle of 15% of the magenta dots, which form a dark Gray, used to detect the gray balance of dark circles.
