C-Fit software full name i-ColorQc C-fit is Fujifilm's software for color conversion. It used to be mainly used in the Japanese market, with a market share of over 40%. After the success in the Japanese market, Fuji Starlight introduced it to the domestic market and expects it to bring a new technological revolution before the press. At the Shanghai All India Exhibition held in November last year, the scene was slightly deserted because the prepress equipment vendors did not participate. Fuji Xingguang became the largest and most equipped company in the same type of enterprise, including the newly launched C-Fit. Software has also become a new highlight of the show. The main function modules of C-Fit are RGB picture color optimization, lossless conversion of RGB picture to CMYK picture color vision, and automatic management of PDF file content color conversion output and so on. First, the image optimization module: automatic optimization of RGB image quality
The Imageoptimization module includes the Image Intelligence technology that has been used in the Fujifilm printing industry for a long time. Just like the digital camera settings, it can intelligently analyze the scene in which the picture is located and make individual color adjustments according to different scenes. By using Face Detection, Skin Smoothing, Light Source Recognition, Exposure Correction, White Balance Adjustment, Sharpness Enhancement and others With some processing, you can optimize the quality of the image, and all this is done automatically.

Second, RGB to CMYK conversion module: realize the visual lossless conversion of RGB images to CMYK images
For the conversion of RGB images to CMYK images, it has always been a problem in the industry. Fuji developed Perceptual1 and Perceptual2 compression modes for this problem. Color Appearance Mapping technology allows users to convert RGB images into CMYK images. At the same time, it maximizes the visual sensation of RGB images, which ensures that the color of the image is always optimal when converted from source files to printed images.
The upper left of the figure below shows the RGB original image, the right side is an example of the excess of the printing color gamut, the lower left is the general software conversion effect, and the right side is the C-Fit conversion effect. We can see that the use of C-Fit software has preserved the maximum color out of the gamut space.

Fourth, the Setup Tool tool: pre-judgment the results of image conversion
Through the Setup Tool tool, you can preview the image effect in the Preview. You can directly see the RGB optimization and RGB conversion to CMYK results by calling different work tickets. In addition, the RGB image values can be changed at a glance. For images that have not yet met the requirements after conversion, you can adjust the color by calling Tone Curve channel curve adjustment and Color Correction.
As shown in the red box above, we can see that the RGB original image is subjected to RGB to CMYK visual lossless conversion after the white balance is automatically corrected.
