The current wave of CTP (computer-to-plate system) has started in the global printing industry, and the era of digital printing has arrived. In this unprecedented wave of printing technology revolution, who is up and down? “China-India Weekly Jin” screamed loudly: “Relying on independent technology, research and development of CTP with independent intellectual property rights, thus fully realizing the “three-in-one digitalization of pre-press electronic printing, high-speed printing and post-press automation” in China's printing industry. 'A grand goal.'
"Laser Photographic Technology" was invented by Wang Xuan in the 1980s and became the second revolution in China since the invention of the movable type printing in the printing technology industry. In the 21st century, who can set off the third wave of revolution in China's printing industry?
Shi Junmin, general manager of Beijing Zhongyin Zhoujin Technology Co., Ltd., solemnly answered this question: “China and India Zhou Jin relied on independent research and development technology to produce the first domestic “digital direct plate making machine” (CTP), which successfully set off. The third wave of revolution in Chinese printing technology has enabled Chinese printing technology to enter the current international advanced CTP era."
At the 2008 China International Printing Technology and Equipment Exhibition, which ended recently, Beijing Zhongyin Zhoujin Technology Co., Ltd. attracted great attention from the participants. What makes the company's general manager Shi Junmin excited is that the digital direct plate-making machine they developed successfully passed the special review of the Ministry of Science and Technology and was included in the 2009 national key new product plan, and received 300,000 from the Ministry of Science and Technology. Yuan special bonus.
Failed 99 times to succeed once
When talking about technical difficulties, Shi Junmin said: "In fact, every discipline and link has difficult problems. From the perspective of electronics, taking the CTP system laser as an example, this system requires a laser of 830 nm and a laser beam of 32 channels. Or 64 channels, each of which needs to be controlled separately, and the laser uniformity of the entire 32 or 64 channels should be consistent. On each road, the pulse of control must be kept at the microsecond level to meet the index."
Shi Junmin further explained: "Popularly speaking, we have to control the laser current from 0.2 amps to 1.2 amps in the microsecond range. After the completion of the whole work, we must return to 0.2 amps, and ensure that the laser cannot be Burned out, and when the current rises to 1.2 amps, it can last for a while, and the whole work process needs to be completed in 30-50 microseconds. This work process includes the rise and fall of the current, and the current rises. In the process, the “rising edge” must be shaken and cannot be ramped up. This is a difficult and very advanced technology in China. To achieve the required indicators, it is necessary to improve the laser control method. Protection of components, if the current is not well controlled, more than 1.2 amps or 1.5 amps, a five or six thousand yuan laser, just "啪", this part will burn out. This was in the early development, there have been Such a failure, in his own words, was 99 failures and the last time he succeeded."
Shi Junmin said that when debugging the 16-channel laser, it encountered a big problem, because the effect of the laser on the aluminum plate must be consistent, and because of the problems involved, it can not grasp its law. On the optical system alone, the focal length index is consistent, and the angle of the laser is not good. When the angle was adjusted, the focal length was not met, and it was not solved in the whole winter. From the optical point of view, taking the 32-channel laser as an example, the laser hits every point on the aluminum plate, and the theoretical diameter is 15 micrometers. For the light-emitting surface and various protection measures, the current state of the art is simply not achieved. It can only be transformed by a set of optical systems to achieve a high resolution. This also requires countless experiments to get accurate parameters. The accuracy of the laser hitting the aluminum plate requires accurate calculation of the accurate parameters of the "magnification, resolution, and transmittance" of the optical system. These aspects can be matched with repeated experiments and debugging to meet the requirements. “There is also a mechanical control technology. The CTP system has a toner cartridge-like component called the imaging drum. It is an aluminum tube with a length of 800-1000mm. Its accuracy requires that any bus bar be 15 microns from left to right. In terms of its roundness, the circumference of the aluminum tube should be within 10 microns. When the imaging drum is working, the rotation speed is high, and it needs to solve its dynamic balance problem. For the imaging drum, it is only one Even if there is a uniform cylinder, there is no problem of dynamic balance when it is turned, but in actual work, some other mechanisms are loaded on the imaging drum, so that when it turns, it will be eccentric, so The opposite side of this part must also be added with other objects to maintain balance, such as lead, and is limited by the structure and area of other parts. It cannot be added arbitrarily. Of course, this balance is only theoretical, to achieve 100% balance. It is impossible, only as balanced as possible." Shi Junmin said. Shi Junmin told reporters: "The so-called CTP system, technically speaking, can be understood as a laser printer, which is a digital mechanical plate making system that is more advanced than the laser imagesetter and reduces the process flow and links. The printing process from the laser imagesetter For example, if the photo needs to be printed, after processing on the computer, the film will be printed by the laser imagesetter. The film will be passed through the plate-printing machine. There is an aluminum plate under the plate-making machine, and the image on the film is 'equal'. Zoom in, then transfer the image to the aluminum plate, and then print. For the CTP system, after the computer processes the image, the data is directly transferred to the CTP machine, and then directly transferred to the aluminum plate, and the aluminum plate can be directly printed on the printing machine. Printing operation. This saves the original photo-picker and the printing machine. In terms of process, it not only shortens the printing process, but also improves printing efficiency and printing quality. It can greatly save the electricity consumption of the equipment, while reducing the sewage and protecting the ecological environment."
Shi Junmin introduced that the CTP system belongs to the application machine of opto-mechatronics and involves many fields, such as optics, electronics, computers, machinery and printing. These disciplines need to be combined to achieve near-perfect status. In order to develop a high quality CTP system. If any of the professional levels are not up to or the indicators can't keep up, the final effect of the entire device will not come out.
When it comes to the innovation of technology, Shi Junmin believes that the successful development of this system should be said to be the integration and innovation of multidisciplinary technology. It may not be high to separate the indicators of each profession separately, or it may not reach a relatively high level, but to integrate these together to achieve a high overall effect and level, there is a big Difficulty. For the success of entrepreneurship, Shi Junmin believes that the reason why the technology was developed so desperately was based on the popularity and attitude and the dedication of teamwork. It is also our optimistic about the huge potential demand in the domestic CTP market. As long as the development is successful, the prospects will be bright.
At present, the conservative estimate of the registration of domestic printing enterprises in the industrial and commercial sector is at least 90,000. CTP equipment has been introduced from abroad to the present in 1999, and less than 2,000 domestically produced ones. For the time being, take the 90,000 companies as an example, and remove the best and worst companies. If there are only 9000 in the middle, there is only 9000 in this market. This market space is very large. With the maturity of domestically produced technologies, imported products will become less and less, because imported products survive by huge profits, then this market space is mainly filled by domestic products, and domestically produced only a few dozen sets of equipment per year. The ability is far from meeting the market demand.
From the price advantage point of view, the current domestic CTP, small machines in the 600,000 yuan, large machines up to 800,000 yuan; imported CTP small machine prices as high as 1 million yuan, the price of large machines is 1.2 million and 1.3 million yuan about. From the perspective of price gap, domestic CTP will have a great competitive advantage.
Shi Junmin said that at present they have mastered the core technology of the CTP system, and the maturity has not changed much from foreign countries. There is still a gap in the design excellence and humanity, but these are some of the edge of the technical field, there is no difficulty.
He explained to the reporter as an example, just like a mobile phone. The person who really uses the mobile phone is most concerned about the quality of the call and the sending and receiving of text messages. As for whether there are MP3, games, cameras, e-books, these auxiliary functions are not important. The same is true for the design and development of CTP systems, such as remote control functions in foreign countries, automatic paper-removing functions, etc. The addition of these functions requires an increase in the cost and time of input, and also depends on the actual needs of customers to choose whether to add these functions.
Shi Junmin said that our company has started the talent reserve plan since 2008, and has already established a production line. Currently, it can produce two or three CTP system machines per week, that is, more than 100 CTP systems can be produced in one year. This is also the company's production target in 2009. In the future, what we need to do is to continuously improve and enhance the technical stability of the system and achieve mass production.
