1. According to the degradation mechanism and the failure mode, the biodegradable mulch film can be divided into two types: a fully biodegradable mulch film and an additive biodegradable mulch film.
The fully biodegradable mulch film is a plastic film composed of substances that can be completely decomposed by microorganisms. The material is mainly derived from starch, cellulose, chitosan and other polysaccharide natural materials, and the final products of degradation are C02 and H20. In 2008, the total starch production was 18.18 million tons, an increase of 1.68 million tons from 2007, an increase of 10.18%.
