Flexo printing is the best way to print corrugated boxes, which has reached a consensus at home and abroad. Flexographic printing corrugated boxes have the following advantages:


●Flexible printing can print both the physical version and the printing network version


Foreign countries tend to use white paper (paint white cardboard or 80g/m2 single-sided coated paper, offset paper) E-corrugated cardboard, 100-line / in printing high-grade corrugated paper box, printing on all types of rough corrugated generally 80 lines / in or less, commonly used 40-60 lines / in. Printing the screen version on kraft paper, generally not three primary colors, and the number of screens should not exceed 60 lines / in.


●Flexible version is flexible


The flexible version is soft and elastic, and can compensate for the thickness error and surface unevenness of the corrugated board with its own compression deformation during the printing process, so that the ink layer is more uniform, thereby improving the printing quality.


●Flexible printing is a light press printing


Corrugated paperboard has corrugated, so that it is not evenly pressed during the printing process. The corrugated high pressure is large, the corrugated low pressure is light, and sometimes the corrugated low-printing plate can not be contacted, and the ink can not be printed. Offset and gravure could not overcome this defect, resulting in serious corrugations. The flexo printing is a light-press printing, and the printing plate can be in good contact with the corrugated cardboard after being compressed and deformed, and the high corrugated portion does not cause serious damage or even crushing due to excessive pressure.


●Flexible printing can use water-based inks


Flexographic printing uses a metal anilox roller transfer system that uses aqueous inks. Water-based inks are used to print corrugated cardboard. The plates need only lightly touch the corrugated board, and the water-based inks are almost completely absorbed.


●The flexo printing machine has a simple structure


The corrugated carton has a large area, and the length of the cardboard can reach 2-3 m. If the offset printing is used, the equipment is huge, and the operation and maintenance are difficult. The flexo printing machine has a simple structure, and the four rollers are made into a color group, and the diameter of the roller is increased to improve mechanical performance and stability. It is very convenient to install, adjust and clean.


●Can be combined with other processing equipment to form a production line


Due to its simple structure, the flexographic printing machine can be produced in conjunction with other processes. Nowadays, corrugated board printing machines are mostly produced in combination with indentation machines and slotting machines. It is indented, slotted, die-cut, glued, The box and the counting device together form a printing production line, and the corrugated box can be directly printed and molded at one time.


Modern corrugated box flexo printing mainly has two production processes: post-printing and pre-printing. After the printing, Mr. produces corrugated cardboard, and then prints it on a single cardboard flexo. The process of slotting, die-cutting, etc. can be completed with printing. The pre-printing is to print the opposite paper first with the rotary flexo printing machine before the corrugated board is produced, and then send the printed facial tissue to the tile line to make the color-faced corrugated cardboard, and then transfer to the next process forming box. Among them, preprinting is the most widely used process in corrugated flexo printing today.
