A summary of commonly used material printing materials
Different papers have different color temperatures, and paper is more aesthetically pleasing to the touch and smell than electronic documents. Paper and printing determine the texture of the work.

Some of the designs look beautiful, but the actual printed ones are far from the renderings; On the contrary, some design drafts look inconspicuous, but with the printing process and material required by the designer, it can achieve very good results.

The difference lies in the designer's understanding of printing knowledge, and the necessary knowledge about printing, let's take a look.

1. Kraft paper

It has a high tensile force, high tear strength, rupture work and dynamic strength. The texture is tough and inexpensive, and it has good resistance to folding and water. It is mostly web, but there is also flat paper. It can be divided into single light, double light, striped, unpatterned, etc., the color is white and yellow-brown, mainly used for wrapping paper, envelopes, shopping bags, paper bags, cement bags, and also used for food packaging paper.

2. Coated paper

Coated paper is also known as printing coated paper. It is mainly made of high-grade raw materials such as wood and cotton fiber. The surface is coated with glazing treatment to increase smoothness and gloss, which are divided into single-sided and double-sided, and the paper surface is divided into two types: glossy surface and cloth texture. The surface of the paper is smooth, the whiteness is high, the ink absorption and ink performance is very good, it can reflect all the colors in the spectrum and get the best effect, and the elasticity is small.

Not only that, but it is also divided into single copper (one side is coated with a varnish), double copper, matte copper and other types (matte coated paper is matte paper, which is more expensive than coated paper). The commonly used gram weights are 80g, 105g, 115g, 128g, 157g, 180g, 200g, 250g, etc. It is suitable for color printing, mainly used for offset printing, gravure fine screen printing, such as high-end albums, almanacs, illustrations in books and periodicals, etc. The post-press color is bright and the layers are rich.

3. Whiteboard paper

Whiteboard paper is a kind of cardboard with a white and smooth front and a gray bottom on the back, which is mainly used for single-sided color printing and then made into cartons for packaging.

The texture is hard and thick, with good standing strength, surface strength, folding resistance and printing adaptability, suitable for packaging boxes, liners, handmade products, etc.

4. Corrugated paper

Corrugated paper has the advantages of light weight and strength, strong load and pressure resistance, shockproof, moisture-proof, etc., and the cost is low. Single-sided corrugated cardboard is generally used as a lining protective layer for commodity packaging or to make lightweight card and backing board to protect the goods from vibration or collision during storage and transportation; Three- or five-layer corrugated cardboard is used to make sales packaging for goods; Seven- or eleven-layer corrugated cardboard is mainly used to make packaging boxes for mechanical and electrical products, furniture, motorcycles, large household appliances, etc. Corrugated paper can be divided into seven categories: A pit, B pit, C pit, D pit, E pit, F pit and G pit according to the flute type, of which A, B and C pits are generally used for outer packaging, and D and E pits are generally used for small and medium-sized packaging.

5. Gold and silver cardboard

In order to highlight the grade of printing and packaging products, more and more customers choose to use gold and silver cards to print, according to many years of printing experience, some of the problems that need to be paid attention to in printing are sorted out as follows:

Gold and silver cards are a kind of special paper, unlike general paper, they are divided into two types: bright gold cards and dumb gold cards, bright silver cards and dumb silver cards. It is a foil medium with a layer of gold and silver on the basis of single copper paper or gray board paper, which is not easy to absorb ink when printing, so it is necessary to use a quick-drying ink to print on the printing.

Paper packaging materials occupy an important position in the packaging industry with their unique advantages.

For the affairs of the enterprise, find the enterprise officer. In the future, with the improvement of environmental awareness and the progress of technology, paper packaging materials will be more widely used and developed.
