Low chemical treatment CTP

The CTP version of low chemical treatment is usually divided into two developing methods. One is to develop the CTP version by water or water solution, which is basically free of chemicals, before the exposure is completed or before the formal printing, and then used for printing. Because of the need for water or aqueous solution to develop, some manufacturers simply separate the development steps as separate cleaning units. The representative is Azura edifice, which uses the principle of hot melt, coating the plastic particles and hydrophilic materials on the plate base evenly. Before exposure, these independent plastic particles are arranged closely. After exposure, the particles have hot melt crosslinking reaction, forming a graphic text, and the unexposed part of the coating material is cleaned and published by water glue.

In addition, it can also be carried out in the machine development, that is, the CTP version, after the exposure is completed, it does not need to develop in the usual sense, but is loaded directly onto the printing machine. Before printing, the non graphic part of the surface of the plate is dissolved and dissolved by the combined action of water and ink, and then the printing begins. Part of the disprinted part of the non graphic part is carried away through the paper, while the other part is dissolved in the fountain solution. CTP free development

CTP technology means that the plate is directly used for printing without development after the exposure is completed, and in the whole process of printing, the coating material on the surface of the plate will not dissolve or fall off. This technology was first achieved through the principle of heat ablating. The plate is usually coated with double layer - the bottom layer of ink and the surface is hydrophilic. Then the surface of the surface is burned by laser to reveal the printed area of printing by exposing the pro ink layer and directly used for printing after exposure. However, because of the dust in the imaging process, the precision of the optical part of the plate making machine is affected, and the environment and human health are harmful. Therefore, there is no large-scale commercial application.

Inkjet CTP technology can also be considered as one of the development free CTP technologies. Through the printer, the ink is sprayed to the specially treated version, using the principle of water and ink balance, the blank part is hydrophilic and the graphic part of the ink is pro ink, thus the transfer process of ink from the printing plate to the seal is finally realized on the printer. Inkjet CTP technology began to appear in the 70s of last century, but because of the poor resolution of the printer at that time, it has not been truly commercialized. With the progress of science and technology, the improvement of printers and plate making technology, ink jet CTP technology has also begun to get some development. At present, the precision of this kind of technology can reach 180Lpi. Ink jet printing has not been popularized in the printing industry because of the precision, speed of plate making and the limit of plate size. But for some small fast printing enterprises, this technology is a kind of environmentally friendly solution.
